Welcome to my walks and photography website inspired by the spectacular landscapes and wildlife of north-west England and the Scottish Highlands and Islands.
The low to mid-level discovery walks have been carefully chosen and the areas painstakingly researched to offer not only magnificent scenery but also a wealth of photographic background information. These Wild Card walking guides, together with thousands of original photographs, hopefully represent my love of the British countryside, its wildlife, history and culture.
