These amazing, low to mid-level circular walks around Lancashire should be suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness.
Lancaster and Morecambe Area
Glasson Dock Walk: 5.3 miles (easy) or 8.3 miles (moderate): Medieval Abbey and picturesque lighthouse.
Heysham Walk: 2.5 miles (easy) or 6 miles (fairly easy): Ancient chapel, rock graves and a power station.
Lancaster Walk: 5.2 miles (easy): Castle, Priory, Roman Bath House, canal and the wild Lune Estuary.
Morecambe Walk: 7.5 miles (fairly easy) Enjoy the wildlife of Morecambe Bay, the canal and River Lune.
Overton Walk: 2.2 miles (easy) or 6.9 miles (fairly easy): Amazing sands, a tidal road and Samboo's Grave.
North Lancashire Borders
Bentham Walk: 2.5 miles (easy) or 7 miles (moderate): The Great Stone and fine views of all Three Peaks.
Cowan Bridge Walk: 6.25 miles (moderate): The caves and potholes of the wild and enigmatic Leck Fell.
Silverdale Walk: 4.25 miles (easy) A lovely coastal walk with a woodland return via the magical Woodwell.
Warton Walk: 4.5 miles (moderate) Enjoy the flowers and views from the limestone terraces of Warton Crag
Waterslack Walk: 6.25 miles (moderate) Lancashire's only lake, scenic parkland and Leighton Moss.
