Yorkshire Dales Walks
Discover the Yorkshire Dales with these photographic walking guides through which I hope to share my own discoveries and adventures. Much research goes into the making of each walk as I aim to achieve the best combination of wonderful scenery and points of interest. I love stumbling across an amazing viewpoint or something new and exciting and hope you do too!

These amazing, low to mid-level circular walks in the Yorkshire Dales should be suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness.
Ingleton Area
Austwick Walk: 4.5 miles (easy) or 7 miles (moderate): The Norber Erratics, Nappa and Moughton Scars.
Bentham Walk: 2.5 miles (easy) or 7 miles (moderate): The Great Stone and a fine view of all Three Peaks.
Chapel-le Dale Walk: 5 miles (fairly easy): Views of Ribblehead Viaduct, caves and a gigantic shakehole.
Clapham Walk: 2.75 miles (easy) or 5.75 miles (moderate): A lake, show-cave, Trow Gill and Gaping Gill.
Ingleton Walk: 4.5 miles (moderate) 6.25 miles ( fairly strenuous): Waterfalls with exciting Kingsdale twists.
Sedbergh and Dentdale
Brigflatts or Howgill Walk: 5.25 miles or 7.5 miles (fairly easy): A Quaker trail to Fox's Pulpit with fine views
Cautley Walk: 4.25 miles (easy) or 6.25 miles (moderate): Cautley Spout and prehistoric remains.
Cowgill Walk: 6 or 6.5 miles ( fairly strenuous): Dent Station, Pike's Edge and Arten Gill Viaduct.
Dent Walk: 6 miles (moderate): The historic Flintergill, superb views and riverside return.
Sedbergh Walk: 4.75 miles (fairly strenuous): Castlehaw, Crook and Winder Fells. Great views.
Settle Area
Horton in Ribblesdale Walk: 6.25 or 7.5 miles (fairly strenuous) Penyghent and the UK's largest natural hole
Malham Walk: 2.25 miles (easy) or 6.5 miles (tricky in parts): The limestone extravaganza of the Dales.
Selside Walk: 2 or 5.75 miles (fairly easy): Alum Pot, Long Churn Caves and spectacular pavements.
Settle Walk: Settle 4 miles (fairly easy) or 6 miles (moderate): Victoria Cave, scars and Scaleber Force.
Stainforth Walk: 4.5 or 5.25 miles (fairly easy): Two super waterfalls and an amazing Hoffmann Kiln.
